Hi Neighbors and Civic Association Members;
Most of the political focus is on the upcoming presidential race, but there is a very important DeKalb Super District 6 Commission race that is on the ballot. Comm. Kathi Gannon is running for a 3rd term. Her opponent is the head of staff for current Comm. Lee May who represents south DeKalb.
Kathi has been a friend of Leafmore for many years, and a personal friend as well. For these reasons, I am supporting her in the Democratic Primary in July, and have agreed to host a meet and greet for her at my house in June. Here’s the official announcement:

This is a chance to meet Comm. Gannon in an informal setting and ask her about any concerns or issues you may have- there are certainly many facing us these days from the incorporation of Brookhaven and its effect on county revenues and county services, redistricting, taxes, PDK and more .
